Visitors to our site do not normally view the following, so if you have found it, you must have been doing some serious digging! Beware - you and your ISP number are being tracked while you are in these "off limits" areas. If however you accessed it because it is listed in a search engine and you were following a result, well, welcome I guess!
Seeing as you are now here, I will explain to you that these are e-mail addresses of people who have sent "spam" mail to one of our various e-mail accounts. They are provided here so that when a "webbot" e-mail address harvester visits this site to lift e-mail addresses to sell to people to use to "spam" others, these people will all receive spam themselves!
For those of you who are facing a similar barrage of spam - or even just the odd annoying one or two, there is an excellent explanation and resource available at http://www.mindworkshop.com/alchemy/nospam.html which explains some ways of avoiding spam and detecting and reporting spammers. Another excellent site is http://easyweb.easynet.co.uk/~gcaselton/spam/spam.html and a third is at http://math-www.uni-paderborn.de/~axel/BL/blacklist.html.
For those as frustrated as I, I would recommend including a page such as this on your web site if you have one. Link to it from another page on your site somewhere - an invisible link consisting of a 1 pixel square graphic that is "hot" will work admirably. If there were enough of these pages on the Internet, at the very least it would make the list bots life difficult; create additional work for those selling the e-mail addresses; and with luck cause all the people sending spam to receive spam themselves - and who knows perhaps it would become an inpractical form of advertizing (right.... maintain the dream!!). Don't forget too that you can spend a lot of the spammers money if they are foolish enough to include a 1-800 number in their e-mail. Be friendly - call them regularly! They want to hear from you - that's why they included the number in the spam e-mail - and FWIW calling from a payphone is more expensive for them too (and untraceable to you).
If you find your e-mail address here and feel it shouldn't be, well..... tough! All of these addresses have been recorded personally by me from either the headers or some other part of a spam e-mail message sent to one of our addresses. The list is added to daily and this page updated at least once a week. If you don't want to receive spam as a result of your address appearing on this list, well perhaps you should have thought of that before you sent me the unsolicited advertising e-mail in the first place.....
If you really, really feel your e-mail address shouldn't be here, well..... you can contact me and try and convice me that there was a good reason that spam was sent including the address - but I warn you, I won't be easy to convince.
Perhaps you can tell we are all getting more than a little fed up with it!!
